Dear Parishioners & Friends,

The State of New York has limited attendance at public gatherings. Public Divine Liturgies have resumed at 25% capacity. The Divine Liturgy is celebreated from Tuesday to Sunday at 10 am.

We must do our share to reduce the risk of this terrible virus. When visiting the Cathedral in person:

  • Avoid attending the Divine Liturgy if sick or showing COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Enter the Church through the main doors on Henry St.
  • Bring disinfectant wipes to clean where you sit when you come and also when you leave.
  • Wear a mask as you enter the Church and keep it on all the time until you exit.
  • Sit in the designated pew for every household (1 person or a family of up to 5 people).

A few tips while you are attending the Divine Liturgy online:

  • Try to follow the Divine Liturgy as it is streaming live even though you can watch it later.
  • Place an icon of Christ, a crucifix or other religious items that will help you to focus on prayer.
  • Dress as you would for the Divine Liturgy in Church.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for the Sacraments of Penance and Anointing of the Sick.

May the Lord Jesus have mercy on us during this time and walk with us in this darkest valley to the light of his resurrection.
