Dear Parishioners & Friends,

The State of New York has prohibited public gatherings. All public Divine Liturgies and devotions will be canceled starting Monday, March 23rd, 2020.

However, the Cathedral will stay open for private prayers from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm as a sign of hope in the presence of God among us. We must do our share to reduce the risk of this terrible virus.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for the Sacraments of Penance and Anointing of the Sick.

The Stations of the Cross (click here for the text) will be livestreamed Friday, March 27, at 6 pm celebrated by Bishop Gregory, and the Divine Liturgy of the Sunday of the Blind Man (click here for the text) will be livestreamed on Sunday, March 29, at 10 am celebrated by Bishop Gregory.

A few tips while you are attending the Divine Liturgy online:

  • Try to follow the Divine Liturgy as it is streaming live even though you can watch it later.
  • Place an icon of Christ, a crucifix or other religious items that will help you to focus on prayer.
  • Dress as you would for the Divine Liturgy in Church.

May the Lord Jesus have mercy on us during this time and walk with us in this darkest valley to the light of his resurrection.
